Take a guide with over a decade of local fishing experience, add in a custom built 2023 Northwest Aluminum Craft outfitted with the best electronics and fishing gear available and what do you get? An unforgettable experience chasing iconic species of pacific salmon, cod and rockfish on the spectacular Strait of Georgia.
Start your day off with a comfortable run to the fishing grounds experiencing all the Salish Sea has to offer. Operating out of Comox, we commonly see many species of marine life on our charters including Orca and Humpback whales, California and Stellar sealions, Harbor seals, porpoises and many species of marine birds including the iconic Bald eagle.
Once on the fishing grounds your guide will use his local knowledge and Simrad electronics to get you on the fish. Top of the line gear from rod and reel, to tackle is used to provide you with the best possible angling experience.
Target species of salmon are Chinook (aka spring or king) and Coho (aka silver). Ling and various Rock cod can be targeted seasonally as well as Spot prawns and Dungenous Crab. Seasonal closures can affect which species are open for retention and all efforts will be made to send you home with the freshest seafood available any time of year. Chinook salmon will be closed to retention from April.1 - July.15 2024 however this is an extremely productive time and they can still be targeted for catch and release leading to many smiles, pictures and sore arms.
All fishing related gear and supplies are included in your charter as well as processing and packaging your catch, however all guests that are participating in fishing activities must have a tidal fishing license with salmon stamp available here.
Water is provided on board and guests are encouraged to bring snacks and refreshments to make their day enjoyable. Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted as well as smoking on rear deck. Guests are asked to dress in layers suitable to weather conditions, bring sunglasses even if its cloudy and don’t forget your camera!
There are many quality food trucks operating out of Comox Marina Park that can provide a delicious local meal before or after your charter, if you would like a meal added to your charter please inquire during booking.

Beyond being immaculate, our vessel and captain have all Transport Canada required safety certifications and equipment on board and we have exceeded those standards in many ways including adding an AED for our 2024 season. Comfortable in any weather, our heated enclosed cab seats six adults and has a private flush toilet. * 5% GST applied to above rates, 50% deposit of charter rate due at booking with the remainder paid at start of charter. Cancelations 14 or more days in advance will receive a full refund of deposit. Cancelation within 7-13 days of charter will recive 50% refund of deposit. Cancelation with less than 7 days notice will forfeit deposit.
*Our vessel is highly seaworthy and capable of fishing in most wind and weather conditions. In the case of the captain cancelling a charter due to unsafe weather, we will either arrange a mutually agreeable replacement date or offer a full refund if scheduling does not allow a replacement.
